Arkansas
Overview
- Arkansas judges, court reporters and some other court personnel are paid by the state; clerks are paid by the county.
- Partly because of additional state revenue from natural gas production, the state budget was not reduced in FY09 or FY10. The Judiciary received funding to hire 17 additional employees and to complete the next phase of implementation of its electronic case management system.
