The Mass Tort Judges’
Network is made up of state court judges presiding over or interested
in mass tort cases. The Network is
maintained by the National Center for State Courts as a vehicle
to connect mass tort judges with one another and to provide access to
news and educational resources about developments in mass tort
management. Judges may
contact Amy McDowell to register to become a part of the Network.
Westlaw
Judges participating in the Network may obtain free access to case documents (e.g., case
management orders, orders, decisions, memoranda) from mass
tort cases through an online document clearinghouse at Westlaw,
in exchange for agreeing to contribute their own documents for access by other state
and federal judges.
This flyer
explains the purpose of the Mass Tort
Judges' Network and may be distributed to groups of interested
judges.
