GJXDM Wayfarer Version History

Disclaimer: This access tool was developed for internal use at the National Center for State Courts. It was created by reverse engineering the data model from a number of linear reports. 09/17/2004	Released Version 1.9 Added definitions for almost all of the remaining types. Added a lengthy introduction page. This is sort of a User Guide. Added external code tables.
08/23/2004	Released Version 1.8 Changed search to allow searching by names and/or descriptions. Changed search to allow searching by exact name. This is good for jumping right to a known element like "Person." Added list of all elements of a given type, plus any elements of a type derived from the given type. In other words, if the given type is "PersonType," then this list will contain everything that is person-like. Prettied up the search results. Added definitions for most of the types.
07/14/2004	Released Version 1.7 Added reverse inheritance lookup. In other words, each element lists all the other elements of which it could be a property.
07/01/2004	Released Version 1.6 Officially renamed from GJXDM Homebrew Viewer to GJXDM Wayfarer.
06/30/2004	Released Version 1.5 Removed elements contained in SuperObject from the SuperType inherited hierarchy. This change points to the need to possibly rethink the database representation to include the extension chains in the type table rather than through the element that extends the type. Also provisionally renamed from GJXDM Homebrew Viewer to GJXDM Wayfarer.
06/25/2004	Released Version 1.4 Added 64 missing elements, but don't yet have correct context for them. (See ToDo list). These elements are present in the GJXDM spreadsheets in the alphabetical lists of elements, but do not show up in any of the hierarchical listings.
06/22/2004	Released Version 1.3 Created localized version with search capability. Requires installing Perl and a web server on the target computer.
06/20/2004	Released Version 1.2 Created localized version, suitable for viewing from a laptop or PC lacking Internet access.
05/28/2004	Released Version 1.1 Added inherited hierarchy to the element property pages. This shows all available properties for an element by tranversing up the chain of type extensions.
05/27/2004	Released Version 1.0 Initial version. Displays the GJXDM as a dynamic tree. (Requires a JavaScript-enabled browser.) Supports searching names and descriptions.
