Description:

Product(s)/Service(s) Provided to Court

Services range from general, high-level technology planning and strategic analysis to specific tasks like system design assessment, needs assessment planning, and automation policy development. Services are provided to statewide systems, appellate courts, general jurisdiction courts, and limited jurisdiction courts, both in the United States and internationally.

Major areas of proficiency include system requirements analysis, planning, and evaluation of emerging technologies in the justice community. National Center staff command expertise in court operations and management, with strong technical expertise in computerized operations and office automation. This unique combination of skills bridges the gap between courts and vendors to provide quality assurance in planning and implementing justice system applications.

Services also include analyzing countywide justice information systems that integrate courts with other justice agencies and departments, providing assistance on court automation, policy development, public access to court data, facility planning, and court security. The National Center assists in applying newer technologies to courts, including document imaging, kiosk/public information systems, video arraignment and reporting, electronic filing, bar-coding, voice response, and executive information systems.

Scope of Business

Consultants to justice system agencies internationally, specializing in trial and appellate courts and court management in the nation’s 56 state and territorial court systems.
