Odyssey Courts & Justice Solutions
Tyler’s Odyssey solution has proven its versatility in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of any judiciary, regardless of size or complexity. It is also versatile in its method of delivery — Odyssey is available as either a licensed, locally deployed solution or as a hosted Software as a Service SaaS offering.

At its core, Odyssey provides a unified case management system that allows each court to consolidate the functions of case processing — judge assignment, document management and docketing, automatic fee assessment and collection, calendaring, case management reporting, time standards and rapid in-court session management for both clerks and judicial officers. Odyssey is designed to automate the tracking and management of information involved in all case types including criminal, traffic, civil, family, probate and juvenile. It supports the needs of individual county courts as well as multi-jurisdictional systems and statewide implementations.

Additional features automate the management of court calendars, coordinate judge’s schedules and generate court dockets. Our targeted courtroom technologies allow courts to rapidly review calendars, cases and view documents in the courtroom. Courts may also take advantage of our related jury management system. Documents received by the court can be scanned into electronic work queues and the electronic case file and easily retrieved for viewing. Documents generated by the court can be created automatically through Microsoft® Word, electronically signed and automatically attached to the electronic case file.

Odyssey Jail Manager and Law Enforcement are fully integrated with the court and prosecutorial applications for an end-to-end view of the entire judicial process.

With Odyssey Prosecutor, prosecuting attorneys can view case files and related documents, accept, reject or modify charges filed by law enforcement as well as manage victims, witness lists, evidence and subpoenas needed for court hearings.

Integrated with the jail and court systems, Odyssey Supervision gives probation officers easy access and quick notification of offenders that have court hearings scheduled, are arrested locally and have new warrants issued.

Internet public access, electronic filing, electronic payments and other citizen services can be leveraged to improve service to the public.

INCODE Municipal Court Solutions
It is through the municipal courts that most citizens come into contact with the American judicial system e.g., city ordnance violations, motor vehicle citations, zoning issues. A fully integrated, graphical application, Tyler’s INCODE municipal court solution tracks all aspects of the court and its officers while providing effective case management, document processing and cash/bond management.

With the flexibility to manage court cases effectively for municipal courts that range in size from small towns with low case volumes to large cities with high volumes, our municipal court solution can be configured to fit your court’s individual needs. Duplicate data entry on cases and citations is eliminated through the use of master files for persons, officers and vehicles. The municipal case management system offers a wide array of standard reports and is compliant with many state and conviction requirements. Additionally, INCODE municipal court integrates with INCODE financials and Tyler Public Safety.

INCODE Court Online allows the public to pay municipal court fines by credit card or electronic check via the Internet. If your court or city has an existing Web site, it can easily be linked directly to Court Online. This application integrates seamlessly with Tyler’s INCODE municipal court product, eliminating the complexity and potential problems of dealing with exported data to a third-party system.

Additionally, Tyler Public Safety applications can be tightly integrated with the INCODE municipal court solution, which saves time for both your court and public safety staff. Tickets and citations are entered just once, but the data is available to both systems. Individual users are granted access based on their security clearance.
