Case summaries are completely definable by your court and can fit the needs of your court, depending on the jurisdiction register of actions, case docket or progress docket. Utilize your courts terminology by defining the details of the case summary, define the look, the output, order of events and much more.

case flow calendar management by judge
Utilizing JustWare’s Business Rules Manager, you define business rules for your court that set up calendar management and customized case flow for each of your judges and administrators.

court defined views of judicial assignments
Judges and judicial staff have a one screen view of their judicial assignments. This provides a clickable drilldown view for detailed case access.

auto-emailed reporting
With JusticeWebview, your reports arrive directly in your inbox—on demand or on a schedule. Your judges, administrators, or even external stakeholders—such as law enforcement officials or criminal justice staff—will stay in the loop with regular, convenient access to reports and updates.

handheld Microsoft Outlook synchronization
Do you rely on your Microsoft Outlook calendar to keep your schedule under control? Export your JustWare calendar to Microsoft Outlook with a single click, and then synchronize it with your handheld device.

laptop synchronization
Mobilelync, an add-on to JustWare, gives your judges, administrators, and judicial staff members access to JustWare data from anywhere—even without a network or Internet connection. Seamless, bi-directional synchronization allows you to add and modify cases on a laptop while others change data on your office database and, when you get back to the office, both databases automatically synchronize.

central name party database
Everyone with whom you interact—prosecutors, plaintiffs, respondents, defendants, public defenders, victims, witnesses, organizations, aliases, businesses, law enforcement officers, other agencies, businesses and your own judges—is entered into JustWare once and linked to cases and matters. This powerful design provides a global view of how a name or party record has been involved with your court.

differential case management design
JustWares intuitive design supports differential case management—where various categories and types of cases process differently. For example, time-sensitive filings, cases processed under different rules, time standards and specific judicial assignments all process differently. With JustWare, you need not purchase individual case specific modules for each of your case types.

unified case management system
Each case type your court handles is processed uniquely, often with a specific workflow that requires customized documents and forms, statistical reports, accounting functions and calendaring. JustWare is an integrated solution that can be configured, according to your specifications, to anticipate and automate your workflow for all your case types, including criminal, civil, family, traffic, appellate and all others.

JustWare even supports detailed security roles that allow or restrict access to these case types.

You need not purchase additional case specific modules. A powerful, unified case management system provides a flexible tool for any of your agency-defined case types, today and in the future!

ad-hoc searching reporting
JustWare’s searching and exporting functionalities make it one of the most flexible and powerful solutions on the market. You can search on every screen, every field and in multiple combinations of fields and then export your results to other programs for further analysis and easy printing.

automated document form generation
JustWare manages and automatically generates complex, multi-page documents, batch documents, payment notices, warrants, simple letters and more—using your agency’s templates. These documents automatically populate with the information stored in JustWare, reducing data entry time and error.

With JustWare’s Business Rules Manager, you can set up JustWare to follow your workflow—automated documents and forms can be triggered by docket entries or case status changes.

business rules management
Using JustWares Business Rules Manager, it is a snap to define your courts rules for case and docket workflow without knowing any programming languages. The Business Rules Manager allows case statuses, events, documents/forms and notifications to be linked to and triggered by each other and timed events.

Every rule can even be specific to certain case types. For example, a case status on a civil case may trigger an event, which triggers a docket entry, which triggers the creation of a form or document, while the same change on a criminal or juvenile case will trigger a different string of events.

Your agency defines all of the unique event, document, notification, and report triggers, including statutory and locally-mandated time standards and agency-defined automated docket-entry rules, case-close rules, intake rules and hearing rules—all in a single business rule management tool.

highly customizable
JustWare gives you all the advantages of an off-the-shelf program—regular releases, a rapid-response support team and a nationwide user base of your peers—with all the flexibility, and none of the costs and time commitment, of a custom-developed application. Rename system fields, screens and icons re-order or hide screens add additional icons linked to external programs and websites completely control code tables and add an unlimited number of name, case/matter and charge fields!

All JustWare upgrades are completely backwards compatible, giving you the surety that your locally-defined system will not be altered.
