Research Division

Building on the mission of the National Center for State Courts, "Promoting Justice Through Leadership and Service to State Courts," the Research Division creates opportunities to support states in their efforts to improve the administration of justice by identifying trends, shaping future developments, and fostering adaptation to change. This mission is achieved to the extent that state courts with problems that would benefit from research turn first to the National Center for State Courts.
