Typography
Times Roman is the main typeface used for National Center for State Courts printed materials. This classic typeface was chosen for its universal quality and readability. Times Roman is commonly used for headings, titles, and subheads. This font is used on the NCSC Web site. Berkeley Oldstyle may be used as a substitute but is not recommended for use with Times New Roman. Arial and Scala Sans are secondary typefaces for NCSC materials, used most often for subheads or headers. Both are sans serif fonts.
