Profile: Court Technology Applications

General Information

This Court Information Profile type provides a snapshot summary of the technology applications that a court or state court system has implemented, is developing, or is planning to implement.  It contains a listing of 23 of the most common or most important technology applications that courts have found to be of value.  For each type of technology, courts are asked to provide the following information:

Implementation Status

I -- Implemented
D -- Developing
P -- Planning
N -- No plans.

Implementation Date

If Status = "I":  month and year application went into live, production mode;
If Status = "D" or "P":  approximate month and year for which implementation is targeted;

Comment

Supplemental information about the specific technology application.

In addition, there is a General Comments field to permit courts to include general information about their use of technology, further details or explanations, additional contact information, or anything else they wish to share.

The profile type was developed as a prototype for proof-of-concept during the early stages of the Court Information Portal project.  The content for each of the existing profiles was entered directly by the designated profile administrator for each participating pilot court.
