Future Trends in the State Courts

NCSC has reported on Trends in the State Courts since 1988.   The report has changed substantially through the years including the addition of an environmental scan in 2002. Currently the report is entitled "Future Trends in State Courts" and produced by Knowledge and Information Services.  The full Trends reports are available in pdf and individual articles are in a printer friendly version of html.

In 1988 Information Services, at the request of the Conference of Chief Justices (CCJ) and the Conference of State Court Administrators (COSCA) published the first edition of the Report of Trends in the State Courts.  The report was  presented each summer at their joint annual meeting.   As part of its digitization project, the National Center's Library has made its possible to access these early reports online.
