Other relevant description or information: This program only offers a divorce class at this time.  The course is taught once each month. It consists of two days of instruction. Individuals may attend in-person or from a remote location via video conferencing.  The program is a collaboration of the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation and the Self-Help Center at the Southern Illinois University School of Law.

Other relevant description or information: This help-desk program is staffed by non lawyers (court clerks) but the legal services program supervises and provides legal advice and services. The clerks help litigants prepare simple cases, but in the case of more complex or contested suits, the client is sent to legal services to receive representation or referral to a private attorney (depending on income).
