ABA Division of Public Education.
The two most common sources of funding for Youth for Justice state LRE projects are state or local bar associations (including interest on lawyers' trust accounts-IOLTA) and private foundations and corporations. Other common funding sources include state departments of education, federal government offices, and state courts. Amounts of funding from different sources vary greatly. The median amount of support from state/local bars/IOLTA is $46,850.00; compared with $10,000 from foundations/corporations, and $40,000-50,000 from state departments of education and other state and federal government agencies.
National Institute for Citizens Education in the Law.
NICEL works with school-based citizenship education and law-related education programs, K-12. It also works with citizenship education programs having a delinquency prevention focus in juvenile justice settings. This organization has produced texts, instructional units, and other materials that are used throughout the United States. They have developed a highly successful model for involving law students as resources in high school and middle school law-related classes.
Phi Alpha Delta Public Service Center (PAD).
PAD is a nonprofit fraternal organization that supports civic and law-related education programs. It helps generate support for programs and produce publications and other media to encourage involvement by lawyers, judges, and other justice professionals in law-related education.

Anatomy of a Murder: A Trip Through Our Nation`s Legal Justice System.
Includes an introduction to the justice system, links to landmark Supreme Court cases, and actual arrest documents. This page was designed by Cranford High School students and won first prize in the 1996 ThinkQuest's educational Web design competition.

Great web site that presents all components needed for conducting the mock trial of Jensen v. White Star Lines. Includes an introduction to the American justice system that stresses the important role of people who serve on juries.

Washington Courts.
Judges in the Classroom programs involve state court judges teaching law related education to grades K-12 grade. These programs can be found in several states, and a description of Washington’s program can be found here.
Law For Seniors.
Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education..
Law for Seniors is designed to educate seniors, their family members, and their caretakers. This program provides seniors links to legal resources and answers questions about the legal process.
Law Related Education Projects-State.
The Project Profile section provides a brief overview of law-related education projects in each state, including Youth for Justice projects and U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention projects. New Coloradans: Immigration in Colorado.
Center for Education in Law and Democracy..
This program was developed to help Colorado students understand the complexity of the immigration issue and to engage students in a way that will encourage them to keep informed on issues and advocate for their own views. Free teaching materials include a DVD of “The New Coloradans,” produced by Rocky Mountain PBS, and a curriculum for middle and high school students.

Leapholes Pilot Project. .
New Hampshire Bar Association. (2007).
In 2007, the New Hampshire Bar Association invited several middle schools to participate in a pilot program, Leapholes. In addition to the purpose of incorporating law related education into the classrooms, this project also strives to improve student reading, writing, research, and debating skills. This program incorporates a book about a middle school student who does not like school and is in trouble with the law.
