The
Forum has been established to assist state and local organizations
seeking information on public trust and confidence activities
conducted in the states. It
also provides information about national organizations interested in
working with the states to improve public trust and confidence.
Representatives
from the judiciary, the bar, the media, and the public identified a
need for this Forum during the National Conference on Public Trust and
Confidence in the Justice System, held in 1999.
The development of this site became part of a National Action
Plan to build public trust and confidence in the courts. Information available here addresses the top three national
