Miami-Dade County, Domestic Violence Division, Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida (BPI #014).  Practices submitted: Preparation of the petition and filing procedures, linkages with comprehensive victim advocacy and services, procedures for emergency hearings and orders, procedures for service of process for temporary orders, procedures for hearings on the final order, standardized civil protection order elements, mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance with the order, enforcement of orders from other state and tribal jurisdictions, and case management (as “other” practice).    

Second Judicial District Court, Family Division, Reno, Nevada (BPI #034).  Practices submitted: Preparation of the petition and filing procedures, linkages with comprehensive victim advocacy and services, procedures for emergency hearings and orders, procedures for service of process for temporary orders, procedures for hearings on the final order, and standardized civil protection order elements.

Fifth Judicial Circuit, Citrus County, Florida (BPI #012). Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, Monroe County, Islamorada, Florida (BPI #013). Practices submitted:  Linkages with comprehensive victim advocacy and services, procedures for emergency hearings and orders, procedures for service of process for temporary orders, procedures for hearings on the final order, standardized civil protection order elements, mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance with the order, enforcement of orders from other state and tribal jurisdictions, and referral to alternative dispute resolution (as “other” practice).

Superior Court of Guam (BPI #021).  Practices submitted: Linkages with comprehensive victim advocacy and services, procedures for emergency hearings and orders, procedures for service of process for temporary orders, procedures for hearings on the final order, and standardized civil protection order elements.

Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Mclean County, Bloomington, Illinois (BPI #023).  Practices submitted:  Preparation of the petition and filing procedures, linkages with comprehensive victim advocacy and services, procedures for emergency hearings and orders, procedures for hearings on the final order, and standardized civil protection order elements.  Additional information from contact: The population of McLean County is approximately 151,878. The county is 89.2 % white, 6.2% African American, 2.1% Asian, and 2.5% Hispanic. The Court had 53,506 filings in 2001, including 180 orders for protection.

Family Division of the Circuit Court, Baltimore City, Maryland (BPI #026).  Practices submitted:  Preparation of the petition and filing procedures, linkages with comprehensive victim advocacy and services, procedures for emergency hearings and orders, procedures for service of process for temporary orders, procedures for hearings on the final order, and standardized civil protection order elements.

New York City Family Court, Bronx, New York (BPI #035).
