Acknowledgements

The National Center for State Courts gratefully acknowledges the contributions of its Advisory Committee on Technology (ACT) throughout this project. The committee assisted staff with the selection of imaging technology as the topic for Volume 5 and with selecting specific sites for review of their imaging applications. ACT members were also very instrumental in shaping the final product, through their reviews of drafts, their comments, and their suggestions.

We also wish to thank the individuals interviewed at each of the six sites that were visited, as well as the management at each organization. Their experiences with implementing imaging technology provided valuable real-world insights into both the benefits and limitations of this technology in a variety of settings.

Finally, the State Justice Institute is to be commended, not only for its financial support of this project through the Technology Information Exchange Services grant to the National Center for State Courts, but also for the contributions of its grant monitors in reviewing work products and providing advice throughout the project. We very much appreciate their assistance.
