DEADLINE: Monday, August 4, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. EST Registrations
must be received by the deadline.
Postmarks will not be accepted.
Any registrations received
after the registration deadline will not be accepted and will
be returned to the candidate.

Registration Fee: $140.00

Cancellation Policy: A $75 processing fee will be deducted from any refund for the Written Examination. In order to receive a partial refund the cancellation request must be submitted in writing and received by NCSC twenty-one (21) days before the scheduled exam. (for 2008, that means no later than 5:00 pm EST on Saturday, August 30, 2008.) Postmarks are not accepted. Refunds will not be issued to candidates who fail to appear for the examination.

Length of Test: In 2008, and possibly in the future, there will be 100 test items in the English section of the Written Examination and 100 test items in the Spanish section. This increases the total number of items on the test to 200. Additional time will be provided for candidates to take this longer test.

The Phase Two Oral Examination will be offered in 2009.
Only those candidates who have passed the Phase One Written Examination are eligible to take the Oral Examination. In 2007, the Oral Examination was offered in the following locations:

There is no guarantee that the Oral Examination will be administered in the same locations. When the locations for the 2009 administration are approved, they will be posted at this site.
Cancellation Policy: The registration fee is non-refundable for the Oral Examination.
