COURT SERVICES SUPERVISOR 2: Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, Camden Vicinage. Camden, NJ. Summary: Under the general direction of the Court Executive 2B (Civil Division Manager) and/or other higher level supervisory officer, the successful candidate will manage and coordinate professional and support staff on case related or case management teams. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: Family Court Social Services, District of Columbia Courts. Summary: Incumbent serves as assistant to the Director and is responsible for providing administrative,secretarial and clerical support to the Director. Serves as the first point of contact for the Office of the Director, and shares with the Director the confidentiality of all office matters. Duties: Responsible for taking, organizing and submitting to the Director all notes and minutes from meetings attended with the Director, and for assisting with the management of the physical plant, fleet vehicles and utilization of parking spaces. Responsible for daily time and attendance of Office staff, and entering data and work schedules into ETAMS. Processes supply orders for the Office through the Pegasys Financial System. Maintains Director’s calendar and schedules appointments as well as conferences. Performs all typing, filing and clerical assistance; responsible for establishing, modifying and maintaining files on reports, correspondences and other materials. Organizes workflow in the Office and prepares and issues written instructions and protocols on office procedures. Receives and distributes all incoming mail; maintains a log of correspondence and ensures that timelines for responses are met. Reviews (as directed) outgoing mail for accuracy, format and conformance with policies, as well as correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, uniform abbreviations and symbols, and factual details. Serves (as directed) as liaison between the Division and HR Division on all personnel matters, and prepares requests for personnel action. Assists in updating and preparing budget information as well as Management Action Plans updates for review and approval. PROGRAM COORDINATOR (ASSISTANT MANAGER)-DISTRICT COURT: Yamika and Grandview District Offices; Yakima, WA. Summary: Assist with oversight of the administrative staff and court operations in the Yakima and Grandview District Court offices. Duties: Acts as Manager in the absence of the Court Manager. Develops, implements and monitors performance and training standards for employees. Provides guidance to assigned staff members, ensures all staff are thoroughly trained in their area and cross-trained to cover for co-workers. ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ASSOCIATE: Marin County Superior Court, Indianapolis, IN. Summary: This confidential classification is distinguished by its responsibility for providing clerical and administrative support assistance to the Court Executive Officer and Assistant Executive Officers and its responsibility for exercising a high degree of initiative and independent judgment in performing confidential and complex clerical and/or administrative support work related to the daily operations of the court. This class reports to the Court Executive Officer. Duties: Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls; explains procedures and provides factual information to inquiries received; takes messages and refers callers to appropriate resources; responds to complaints and personally resolves matters as appropriate; provides backup clerical and receptionist support to Family Court Services. ASSISTANT COURT EXECUTIVE OFFICER: Marin County Superior Court. Summary: The Assistant Court Executive Officer is a management class responsible for administering day-to-day activities related to all nonjudicial support activities and the provision of judicial and administrative support functions. The incumbents also provide assistance to the Court Executive Officer/Jury Commissioner in the areas of long and short-term planning, budget development and administration, and the preparation and implementation of operational and administrative policies, procedures and work standards. This class is distinguished from that of the Court Executive Officer, in that the latter has overall administrative responsibility for all nonjudicial administrative functions and supervises this class. Duties: Plans, organizes, administers, reviews and evaluates staff and activities required to provide judicial and nonjudicial support for the Court on a day-to-day basis, through subordinate levels of management and supervision. ASSISTANT DIVISION DIRECTOR/COMPTROLLER: State of Oregon, Judicial Department, Office of the State Court Administrator, Business and Fiscal Services Division. Salem, OR. Summary: This position is located in the Business and Finance Services Division (BFSD) of the Office of the State Court Administrator. The incumbent reports to the Deputy State Court Administrator for Business (DSCAB), who reports to the State Court Administrator. The BFSD is responsible for the business management of the Judicial Department. Principal activities include: budget preparation and administration; procurement; business continuity, emergency preparedness and court security; financial reporting; coordination of department accounting activities and operations; mandated, and grant expenditures; risk management; and fixed asset management, reporting, and control; and information security. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: Judicial Education Division, AOC. Chicago/Springfield, Illinois. Summary: This highly responsible administrative position oversees the Judicial Education Division of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC). Duties: Under the direction of the State Court Administrator, the Assistant Director develops, coordinates, and manages the administration of continuing judicial education conferences, advanced academies, seminars, and other judicial and non-judicial personnel training related activities as prescribed by the Supreme Court of Illinois. The duties include working with select committees of the Supreme Court and its Judicial Conference to develop annual and long term strategic plans for judicial education, assess training needs, develop new programs, and work with faculty to design and implement curricula. The Assistant Director supervises staff of the Judicial Education Division located in both the Chicago and Springfield offices. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: Trial Court Administrative Services Division, Sacramento, CA. DEPUTY COURT ADMINISTRATOR: Scottsdale City Court. Summary: The Scottsdale City Court has an opening for a Deputy Court Administrator. The court is comprised of 67 staff members, including 5 judges and 2 civil traffic hearing officers, and an annual operational budget of $6.2 million. This is one of two Deputy Court Administrator positions at the City Court, with both reporting to the Court Administrator. The Deputy Court Administrator is responsible for directing operational areas and staff, as well as planning, organizing and managing activities, researching operational issues, and making recommendation to the Court Administrator or Presiding Judge. newly established position is one of the Court’s executive
management team which includes the Court Executive Officer,

Assistant Court Executive Officer-Metro Operations directs
senior level managers in the Criminal, Traffic, Civil, Family
