MN. Summary: The Second
Judicial District has an exciting opportunity for a full-time
Executive Assistant in the District Administration office of the
Second Judicial District. The
incumbent performs clerical, administrative, and other duties in
the district office. The
district office and the Executive Assistant support the judges,
staff, and court operations in the Court’s four divisions. The position has significant contact with judges, court
staff, and the public. The
position reports to the District Administrator. Duties: Assist those visiting the District Administration office,
and those who call. Provide information to those requesting it.
Prepare correspondence in accordance with established policies
and procedures. Keyboard a variety of complex materials,
administrative and public reports for reproduction and
distribution. Prepare complex spreadsheets, worksheets, and
tables. Prepare meeting agendas in accordance with established
practices, make facility and meeting arrangements, and prepare
meeting materials. Attend meetings and conferences. Take notes
and meeting minutes. Schedule meetings and reserve meeting
resources. Maintain filing systems. Process mail. Maintain
records on office activities pertaining to personnel,
purchasing, travel expenses, contracts, billings, legislation,
information requests, and related activities. Organize and
attend special events such as judges’ swearing in ceremonies.

assigned. Qualifications:
Graduation from an approved high school supplemented by
completion of approved college-level course work in business,
secretarial sciences, or a related field and considerable
experience in court clerical or secretarial work or any
combination of training and work experience which indicates
possession of the knowledge, abilities and skills required
to perform the essential functions as listed above. Experience with email

SERVICES ASSISTANT I/II (CONFIDENTIAL): Superior
Court of California, County

Kings. Summary: The
Administrative Services Assistant classification series
encompasses court administrative clerical support functions
which are utilized in the Superior Court’s Executive Office. The Administrative Services Assistant I is the entry
level classification in the series.
Initially, incumbents work under close supervision and
learn about assigned projects or programs and the administrative
support required. As
experience is gained, there is greater independence of action
within established guidelines.
The Administrative Services Assistant II is the
journey/experienced level in the series, that works under
general direction, performing a wide variety of technical and
responsible court administrative support duties for the Court
Executive Office, Judicial Officers, and Management Staff. This classification series reports directly to the Senior
Executive Services Coordinator. Duties:
Essential duties include, but are not necessarily limited to: Performs
administrative, clerical and judicial support projects for the
Judges, Court Executive Officer, and other administrative
personnel. Screens office visits and telephone calls, refers to
appropriate staff members and/or provides routine information on
court programs and policies as directed; answers complaints and
diffuses disgruntled individuals with tact and diplomacy.
Performs administrative support to the Court Management Staff.
Receives, refers, sorts and delivers incoming mail to judicial
staff, management and staff members; organizes correspondence
for management reply in order of priority, with any background
material attached for reference. Organizes and participates in
the preparation of documents and other information and the
operation of computer equipment, including formatting and
production of documents. Assists in the preparation and
maintenance of the administrative files; may order supplies for
the Court Executive Office, maintains a supply of forms,
publications and law books, and prepares related purchase
orders. Ensures that the judicial law libraries are updated and

detail-oriented individual to work on a part-time basis in the
Civil Arbitration Program. Under the general direction of a
supervisory officer, this position will be responsible for
entering data into the Automated Case Information System (ACMS);
explaining judiciary policies or procedures to customers or
clients, including program eligibility requirements; reviewing

The Circuit Executive’s Office has a position open for an
Administrative Assistant to discharge secretarial,
administrative, and clerical responsibilities for the Eleventh
Judicial Council. The Administrative Assistant reports to and
works directly with the Deputy Circuit Executive and the
Assistant Circuit Executive for Administration. Duties:
The Administrative Assistant performs
secretarial/administrative duties as assigned which require the

supervision, the Administrative Secretary’s primary
responsibility will be providing confidential support services
to the Assistant Division Director of the Business and Planning
Unit of the Office of Court Construction and Management (OCCM),

oriented secretary to provide support to a Superior Court Judge
in the Family Division. Duties: The selected individual needs strong technical ad
administrative skills to support the judge. Conforming judge’s
orders and maintaining the workflow in/out of judicial chambers;
communicating the judge’s schedule with division
administration and case management personnel; preparation and
submission of local and state reports; management of incoming

County. Duties: Performs
work of considerable difficulty in case processing and legal
clerical duties for the clerk of superior court. This is a working/journey position that works under
general supervision. Work
assignments may be in one or more case type areas including but
not limited to front counter, distribution, child support,
fines, restitution and jury. The incumbent applies judgment to
diversified subject matter, selecting appropriate guidelines and
in applying general policies and procedures. Position involves
docketing, setting up of guardianship, conserveratorship and
