COURT SPECIALIST: Justice Systems Inc., Albuquerque, NM. Summary: Court Specialists work under the direction of the Product Manager/Sr. Court Specialist to provide training and support to new and existing clients, work with the development teams and promote case management solutions with marketing personnel. Duties: In addition to providing training and support, the Court Specialist is a valuable resource to the development team, often providing direction and suggestions on how the application should function.  The Court Specialist acts as a liaison between the court and developers to explain needed functionality in a clear and concise manner. The Court Specialist is often called upon to validate and test system functionality before it is released to the courts and to give feedback where necessary to the development team. The Court Specialist also plays an important role in the marketing and demonstration of the case management system. Court Specialists are called upon to assist with presentations to small and large groups in addition to responding to written Requests For Information and Requests For Proposal. DRIVER: Monmouth Vicinage, Superior Court of New Jersey. Summary: The Monmouth County Superior Court of New Jersey is seeking a responsible and dependable driver to operate a State provided van to transport juvenile probationers. Schedule and hours vary on average between 6 and 12 hours per week; driver must be flexible. Vehicle pick-up and starting point will be at the Monmouth Vicinage Probation Department. All assigned pick-up destinations will be within Monmouth County. Qualifications: Applicant will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey. COURT AIDE/ FILE CLERK: District of Columbia Courts, Civil Division. Summary: Receives and files documents. Duties: Locates documents in files and dispatches them to the appropriate office. Maintains inventory control over documents and files. Picks up and delivers computer printouts and other materials. Assists the Courtroom Clerk with gathering necessary papers, cases and books, preparing forms and making entries about exhibits. BRANCH CHIEF, COURTROOM SUPPORT AND QUALITY CONTROL: District of Columbia Courts, Family Court. Summary: Incumbent plans, develops, administers and evaluates programs and special projects designed to accomplish Courtroom Support and Quality Control Branch functions. Duties: Responsible for the assignment of courtroom support staff to the judicial officers assigned to the Family Court. Ensures that the Courtroom staff accurately processes and appropriately deposits all family court exhibits. Ensures that quality assurance functions are performed with a high level of accuracy and in a manner that is consistent with the protocols established by the Family Court. Evaluates branch, division and court policies, procedures and practices, and makes recommendations for improvements. CIRCUIT COURT ADMINISTRATOR 2: South Dakota Unified Judicial System, Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pierre, SD. Summary: This position is responsible to the presiding circuit judge and State Court Administrator’s Office for the administrative functions of a 14-county circuit. Duties: This person will relieve the presiding judge of administrative tasks which include budget and fiscal preparation, personnel, facility, case flow and jury management as well as a liaison with other agencies. This position processes and responds to administrative-related documents and/or correspondence. Also, this position is challenged to maintain an efficient system and minimize personnel problems and problems with the public which can be difficult due to the number and diversity of position supervised, as well as the geographical area of positions supervised. ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST 2 (CONFIDENTIAL): Superior Court of New Jersey, Municipal Division, Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties. Summary: Under the direction of a Court Executive 2B (Division Manager) or other supervisory personnel, this individual will perform varied operational and administrative tasks relative to the operation and maintenance of the division and the 45 municipal courts in the three counties. COURT EXECUTIVE 1B (OMBUDSMAN): Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic Vicinage. Summary: The Passaic Vicinage is seeking a proactive manager with exceptional customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills to function as an ombudsman for court users. The selected individual will be responsible for the development and management of programs designed to promote public trust in the courts and enhance customer service, provide procedural assistance to self-representing litigants (pro se litigants), educate the public regarding programs and services and facilitate the resolution of complaints. PUBLIC INFORMATION COORDINATOR: Denver, CO. Summary: Assists in development and implementation the Colorado Judicial Department's communications, public education and information programs. Primary responsibilities will include content analysis and development, publications, and public education. Duties: Assists in responding to media inquiries by gathering information and referring the media to appropriate resources. Works with public information officer to provide workshops and round table discussions for the media about the courts statewide. Updates, edits, and distributes the “Media Guide to Colorado Courts”. Develops, designs branch publications including annual report narratives, self-help brochures, and executive summaries of reports. Assists in the development and implementation of statewide public education project initiatives, including coordination of Supreme Court and Court of Appeals “Courts in the Community Program”. EXECUTIVE MANAGER: Travis County Justice & Public Safety. Summary: The Travis County Justice & Public Safety is seeking an Executive Manager Justice & Public Safety. Serves under the general policy direction of the Commissioners Court. Duties: Responsible for administration, management, and functions, and operates as Direct Supervisor for Department Heads for the Travis County Counseling and Education Services Department, the Juvenile Public Defender, and operates as Department Head for the Criminal Justice Planning Department. Serves as primary liaison between Commissioners Court and justice organizations, entities, and jurisdictions in the justice and public safety arena. Manages multiple departments through senior administrators to ensure completion of performance mission and objectives in compliance with multi-million dollar operating and capital budgets. Advises the Commissioners Court on matters pertaining to justice and public safety issues. JUDICIAL SOCIAL WORKER II: Office of the Public Guardian, Supreme Court, Judiciary of Guam. Duties: This is moderately complex professional social work involved in the application of social work principles and theories in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and elderly wards who have social problems. An employee in this class performs moderately complex professional work independently on an ongoing basis and participates in the full range of complex professional duties under close supervision. PRINTING OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN 1: Print Shop, AOC, Trenton New Jersey. Summary: The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an experienced individual to work under the direction of the Supervisor, Printing Operations, Judiciary (Supervisor 2) or other supervisory personnel. The selected candidates will operate offset printing machines and varied office machines used in development, production and assembly of forms, booklets, and assorted graphic material. Additional duties will include organizing assigned technical offset printing, and operating and performing routine maintenance or varied machines. Qualifications: Completion of a vocational, technical or specialized training program in graphic and printing communications with course work including printing techniques, copy preparation, composition and layout and graphic art. Six months of experience in work involving printing and graphic art techniques, layout, equipment operation and maintenance and supplies. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute two years of additional non-supervisory printing and graphic arts operation experience. Applicants must have the ability to perform work that requires climbing and prolonged standing, stretching, bending and reaching during the operation and maintenance of the machine. OMBUDSMAN PROGRAM ASSISTANT: Superior Court of New Jersey. Summary: The Monmouth Vicinage is seeking a dynamic customer service individual to provide a variety of administrative and clerical services related to the vicinage Ombudsman program. Duties: Under the general direction of the Court Executive 1B (Ombudsman), the selected candidate will assist with customer service initiatives and special projects; facilitate court tours; maintain and update literature, packets and brochures; collect survey data and compile data onto spreadsheets; conduct research and provide information to the public. Other functions include conducting mailings, answering telephone inquiries; organizing files, and performing other related duties as required. Qualifications: Experience in an office environment and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is helpful. Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are also helpful. RECORDS AND REPRODUCTION/MAIL CLERK: U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, Cleveland, OH. Summary: The incumbent is a member of the District Court’s operations team and provides services to the bench, bar and public. COURT CLINICIAN I: Albuquerque, New Mexico. Summary: Under general supervision conducts clinical interviews, mediation, and assists with custody evaluation; writes parenting plans, treatment recommendations, and consultation reports; serves as section 11-706 expert witness for the court manages assigned cases. Qualifications: A masters degree in counseling, psychology or other mental health related field; 40 hours of mediation training in the area of families/custody disputes; licensure to practice in the State of New Mexico as a LPCC, LISW or LMFT; and three (3) years experience working with families and children in therapeutic setting. SUPERVISOR 2: Print Shop, AOC, Trenton, New Jersey. Summary: The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an individual to join the Management Services, Print Shop Services Unit. The selected candidate will review incoming service requests with customers to clarify the desired format of the finished product; determine due dates and relevant time constraints; assign priority for scheduling purposes; and determine production methods. The Supervisor 2 is responsible for the process by which each production step of each services request is distributed among staff; ensures the progress of service request for proper transition to each subsequent productions step; checks each job for proper quantity, format and copy quality; ensures that team members are in sync as work progresses from step to step; and perform related duties. Qualifications: Two(2) years of supervisory experience in an office environment overseeing a variety of clerical, administrative and support services. ELECTIONS AND GOVERNMENTAL SERVICES COORDINATOR: Montgomery County Probate Judge’s Office, Montgomery County, AL. Summary: The Elections and Governmental Services Coordinator is a new position in the Montgomery County Probate Judge’s Office and is primarily responsible for coordinating Montgomery County primary, general and other required elections such as municipal, county, state, federal and special elections. Duties: Major work functions for the position include managing the overall elections process, preparing for specific elections, monitoring activities during an election, coordinating post election activities, serving as liaison with various groups, and performing various miscellaneous activities and projects as directed by the Probate Judge. Although the position does not directly supervise employees, the incumbent is responsible for leading teams of probate staff to implement elections. SPECIAL CIVIL PART OFFICER: Superior Court of New Jersey, Special Civil Part, County of Monmouth. Summary: The Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County, is seeking a Special Civil Part Officer to serve summons and complaints in landlord/tenant actions and perform lockouts in eviction cases as ordered by the Court. Duties: The officer will serve post judgment papers issued by the court. Duties may also include the sale of goods and chattels. All duties must be completed under specific time restrictions and may require multiple attempts at service by the Court Officer. Qualifications: Candidate will have completed a minimum of 60 college credits with no less than 15 credits in criminal justice, business law or accounting or fulfill at least one of the following: 1) Employed full-time no less than two years by an officer/process server of a New Jersey court or by bonded collection agency in State of New Jersey in managerial capacity, or: 2) Employed full-time no less than two years as a police officer, probation officer, sheriff’s officer or equivalent in the State of New Jersey and performed duties that were investigative in nature, or: 3) Employed for no less than three years by a New Jersey court in the capacity of clerk, attendant, sergeant-at-arms, etc. Must provide proof of a Bond of $50,000 (prior to issuance of caseload). Appointee cannot have a criminal record and must not have any outstanding judgments against him/her. Salary: No salary or benefits are provided by the State. Duties: Essex Vicinage is seeking a reliable Clerk Driver to safely operate a passenger, light duty truck, van or other motor vehicle. CORRECTIONS COUNSELOR: Court Services, Work Release, Alachua County, FL. Qualifications: Associate’s degree; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. Must possess a current State of Florida Correctional Officer certificate and meet any other State of Florida Correctional Officer requirements under Florida Law. CHILDREN'S WAITING ROOM ASSISTANT: County of San Diego, California. Summary: Performs a wide range of child-care services involve general care to children, intake and release of children and light housekeeping duties. Typical duties include: develops, plans and supervises daily recreational and social activities; maintains daily written records; prepares incident and other written reports; consults and communicates with supervisor concerning behavior issues and the needs of children; reports all suspected child abuse cases mandated by law; performs light housekeeping duties to ensure a neat, clean and orderly environment; interviews and/or responds to critical incidents and emergency situations; comforts children in distress; coordinates the intake and release of children; orders and restocks supplies; provides guidance to volunteers; instructs children on the facility rules and procedures; and interacts with Court staff and the public. Summary: The CT Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified individual to assist professional Court Support Services staff in the areas of client intake, assessment and referrals.
