INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST: District of Columbia Courts, Information Technology. Washington, DC. Summary: The incumbent of this position serves as Intranet and Internet Web Master for the Information Technology Division of the DC Courts. Duties: Serves as the web design, development, and administration specialist playing a key role in using technical and functional expertise to maintain and improve the Courts’ delivery of information through its web sites to its audiences. Performs functional requirements analysis and technical design activities in order to support web information architecture efforts and develop, deploy, maintain, and update web sites and web applications as required to satisfy business goals and objectives. Under minimal supervision, creates blueprints, wireframes, site maps, schematics, process maps, feature lists, mockups, visual specifications, working prototypes, content inventories and other artifacts to describe the intended user’s on-line experience. Collects, inventories, tracks, updates, and seeks approval for formal static and dynamic content accessible view Courts’ web sites. COMPUTER TECHNICIAN I: Colorado Judicial Branch. Pueblo, CO. Summary: This position provides computer installation, maintenance and support. HELP DESK SUPPOR SPECIALIST: United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Jacksonville, FL. Summary: The Help Desk Support Specialist will report to the PC Systems Manager with reviews conducted by the Assistant Circuit Executive for Information Technology. This is a new position created to perform end user support activities in chambers and all court units of the circuit court (local and remote locations in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia). The specialist will provide help desk, technical, and end user support and for performing all automation support services necessary to assist local end users in the performance of their jobs. Duties: Answer information technology (IT) help desk telephone and record calls for service; perform routine troubleshooting to correct customer’s problem and follow up until solution is found. Recommend or perform remedial actions to correct problems. Respond to inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software and operator problems. WEB ADMINISTRATOR: Colorado Judicial Branch. Denver, CO. Summary: The Website Administrator position creates and manages a web site that effectively and efficiently communicates essential information about the Colorado Judicial Branch to Judicial Officers, employees, related agencies and the public. Duties: This position plans, administers, and implements statewide intra and Internet programs and projects, serves as project leader for the development, implementation and maintenance of new internet-based policies, procedures and programs within the state court system; develops training for new policies and procedures. In addition, this position works with content providers to ensure the timelines, accuracy, and quality of all information posted on the web site. PC SUPPORT COORDINATOR: Colorado Judicial Branch. Denver, CO. Summary: This position determines work schedules for all JBITS computer technicians, ensures quality control, installs, maintains and repairs computers and software, among many other related duties. Duties: Determines work schedules for all IIS computer technicians. Completes/certifies time sheets for all computer technicians. Works in the field with IIS computer technicians to ensure quality control. Schedules the hardware help desk, and is responsible for monitoring open issues. May be asked to coordinate activities with the Information System Security Officer. Installs personal computers and software, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners, etc) according to IIS standards. Is responsible for successfully migrating data/information from the decommissioned device to the new device. Maintains/repairs personal computers and peripheral devices to a component level. Coordinates installation and maintenance activities with the local client in advance. Duties: Responsible for system design, implementation, and administration of all components that make up the IBM Cognos Business Intelligence infrastructure to include designing, developing, and training in the areas of Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, and Metrics Studio. Strategically design and implement data warehouse concepts such as data marts and data stores using IBM DataStage, while utilizing IBM Cognos to produce Business Intelligence solutions for Judicial and other State agency consumers. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN (I): United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of New York. Albany, NY. Duties: Assisting with networking administration and performance monitoring; assisting with performing back-ups on all systems; installation of hardware and software; trouble-shooting and repairing day to day user problems; performing basic repairs on PC equipment and performing other duties as assigned. Travel to district offices located in Syracuse and Utica, NY may be required. Qualifications: The incumbent must be a high school graduate or equivalent, with education beyond high school preferred. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPUTY DIRECTOR: Information Technology Division, State Court Administrator’s Office, Minnesota Judicial Branch. Saint Paul, MN. Summary: The Deputy Director will work in partnership with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to direct the operations of the Information Technology Division of the Minnesota State Court System which serves all divisions of the Minnesota courts, including over 87 county trial court facilities and court administrative offices. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST: Information Technology. 500 Indiana Ave, NW, Washington, DC. Summary: The incumbent will serve as a senior application analyst/programmer in support of client/server and browser applications with an emphasis on requirements and task management. The incumbent must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Duties: Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: performing high-level analysis to determine the feasibility and cost/benefit of a request; gathering requirements and performing business and system analysis in support of user requests; creating and maintaining requirements documents and specifications as deemed necessary by the request; performing data analysis in support of user requests; creating solutions that support current application and strategic direction standards; and, designing and developing solutions that meet the user specifications. ELECTRONIC MONITORING TECHNICIAN: Social Services, District of Columbia Courts. Summary: The incumbent installs and removes electronic monitoring equipment in the probation office and in the homes of juvenile offenders. Performs community outreach. Duties: Provides troubleshooting support, monitors equipment malfunctions and makes technical adjustments to the electronic devices, as needed. Monitors compliance and reports curfew violations to the supervising probation officer. Maintains records and documentation of all monitoring related activities. Orientates clients regarding the use of equipment. Maintains inventory records, and orders and returns equipment, as needed. Performs general maintenance, cleans, services and maintains monitoring equipment. Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED and three (3) years of general office experience, preferably in a court, social services agency or other relevant setting. Duties: Incumbent is responsible for the daily pick-up, opening, sorting and routing of all Information & Telecommunications Branch mail, and the pick-up and delivery of sensitive mail to various other government and non-government agencies in the DC area, such as US Congress, US Supreme Court and the Administrative Office of the US Courts. Maintains and submits route trip records to Mail Room Supervisor. Qualifications: A high school diploma or General Equivalence Diploma (G.E.D.) and at least one (1) year of clerical experience. Summary: The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an Executive Support Specialist with strong organizational skills to provide administrative assistance to the Director of Information Technology, Assistant Director of Application Technology and four Court Executive 2B titles. Duties: The selected individual will handle correspondence and mailing; compose correspondence; schedule staff and senior management meetings, prepare meeting minutes; screen telephone calls and/or visitors; create agendas for special events. The selected individual will also report staff time; and perform other administrative support duties as required. Qualifications: Five years of experience in an office environment performing a variety of office support services and administrative secretarial work including project and administrative coordination. Successful completion of a clerical training program with a minimum of 700 classroom training hours may be substituted for one year of the experience indicated above. Court work must include typing skills, methods, and procedures; other courts may include, but are not limited to, office procedures, word processing, and business English. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT: Court Administration/Information Technology Division, Circuit Court, Upper Marlboro, MD. Summary: The Information Technology Consultant is responsible for assessing the overall court’s information technology system. Duties: The incumbent provides direct consultative support and training to staff on information technology-based systems, court applications software, multimedia, database resources, network support, hardware consultation and application support. Provides consultative support and services to the Court Administrator, Deputy Court Administrator, and the Director of Information Technology to ensure problem resolution, system/data access, and optimal system performance. Provides consultative support to users in the development or use of applications, software packages, and their features. Evaluates applications, networks, databases, and other systems.
