Summary: The incumbent provides technical support in installing and configuring computer hardware and software programs, as well as second-level end user support. Technicians perform routine to moderately complex troubleshooting for hardware. Duties: Respond to help desk calls, online submittals, and e-mails. Log computer problems, and assist with routine problems. Provide day-to-day support and end-user training for IT and telephone systems, such as additions, deletions, and moves. Analyze and distribute help desk requests. Forward unresolved work orders to the next level. Follow up with users to ensure resolution is satisfactory. Document help desk resolutions. TRIAL COURT TECHNOLOGY OFFICER: Administrative Office of the Courts, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court. Tampa, FL. Summary: The essential function of this position is to manage technology operations. Duties: Analyze policies and recommend procedures in consultation with senior management to ensure efficient and economical system operations; evaluates results to ensure compliance and to identify deficiencies. Directs data integrity, system standards, and guidelines established by the Florida Courts Technology Commission. Summary: The Information Technology Specialist is a member of the clerk’s office and reports to the Information Systems Manager. Duties: Inquires, researches and analyzes difficulties encountered by users and determines problem sources and potential solutions. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER): District of Columbia Courts, Information Technology. Washington, D.C. Summary: The incumbent of this position serves as the technical leader in Application Development for the Information Technology Division of the DC Courts. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN: U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio. Cincinnati, OH. Summary: This position is located in the U.S. District Court. The incumbent provides end user support services, technical support in installing and configuring computer hardware and software programs. The incumbent will perform routine troubleshooting. The incumbent reports to the Systems Project Manager. Occasional travel within the Southern District of Ohio is required. Duties: Provides day-to-day support and training to District staff including, but not limited to WordPerfect, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, national and customized applications. Summary: This classification is distinguished by its responsibility for exercising a high degree of initiative and attention to detail, performing confidential and complex clerical and/or administrative support work related to the daily IT operations of the Court, and adhering to deadlines. This class reports to the Information Technology Manager. Duties: Receives and screens visitors, telephone calls and emails; explains procedures and provides factual information to inquiries received; takes messages and, if necessary, refers callers to appropriate resources; enters calls for service, projects and requests into the IT ticketing system. Relieves technical staff of administrative matters by preparing and transmitting confidential information, keeping informed of pertinent issues, maintaining calendars, and scheduling meetings and conferences. Summary: The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an Executive Support Specialist with strong organizational skills to provide administrative assistance to the Director of Information Technology, Assistant Director of Application Technology and four Court Executive 2B titles. Duties: The selected individual will handle correspondence and mailing; compose correspondence; schedule staff and senior management meetings, prepare meeting minutes; screen telephone calls and/or visitors; create agendas for special events. The selected individual will also report staff time; and perform other administrative support duties as required. (General Description) Duties: Under direction, provides
on-site and remote user support for information technology in a
large court or for statewide network. Provides first level
diagnosis and resolution of computer hardware, software, network
and court procedural problems. Work performed: Analyzes and
troubleshoots software, hardware and telecommunications
problems. Diagnoses application, network and systems errors.
Documents errors and monitors frequent or recurring problems to
identify the need for upgrade in user training, applications,
documentation, systems and court procedures. Refers specialized
technical problems to other technical staff. Develops and
maintains system documentation regarding physical topology,
equipment, environment and/or software. Qualifications: A
high school diploma or GED and at least two years of general
experience in one or more of the following: working with PC

system support; software testing, acceptance and distribution;
court automation. Knowledge of common office software; support

selected individual will function as a mainframe computer
operator in a 7 day 24 hour Data
Center
in a Statewide SNA, ATM, and Frame Relay Network utilizing IBM
mainframes running ZOS, DB2/CICS, CA7, CA1, JES2, Netview and HR
Openview. Shift work, holiday, weekend, and on-call support are
required. Qualifications: One year experience in the operation of a
general-purpose electronic computer and peripheral equipment,

Office, AOC, Trenton,
NJ. Duties: The New
Jersey Judiciary is seeking individuals to work on a LAN and/or
Email support team. Under the guidance of supervisory personnel,
the selected individuals will participate in the support of
either our Desktop or Domino Lotus Notes Email environment. The
selected individuals will have the opportunity to learn MS
Windows XP and Lotus Notes technologies, in addition to the
following: Norton Ghost, Symantec Anti-Virus, MS Office 2003,
Networked Printers, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, BlackBerry,
BrightMail Anti-SPAM, Domino Administration. Other duties
include: customer support and resolution, updating system
documentation, filing, and performing related tasks as assigned.
This position is limited to a maximum of 944 hours in a fiscal
year. Hours of work are a minimum of 20 hours per week and may
not exceed 35 hours per week under normal working situations. Qualifications:
Thirty credit hours from an accredited college including
successful completion of a course in a mainframe or
microcomputer application development language, e.g. C++, COBOL,
Visual Basic, Java, HTML, and a course in introduction to
computer science. COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT WILL BE REQUIRED AT TIME OF

TECHNOLOGY ANALYST: Superior
Court of New Jersey, IT, Counties of Atlantic and Cape May. Duties: The New

organized individual to provide help desk support; attend and
resolve customer service questions and/or problems; identify and
report problems that require in-depth support or research;

related work as required. Qualifications:
IT ANALYST 1: Graduation from an accredited college or
university with an Associate’s Degree. Two years of
professional experience in analyzing, designing programming,
troubleshooting, resolving technical problems and installing
computer systems applications in a mainframe, local area
network, or personal computer environment, OR: two years of
technical experience in the operation and maintenance of
multi-program computer systems plus completion of a relevant
course of training in systems analysis/computer programming. An
Associate’s Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for
the required education and one year of experience. Three years
of post secondary education in computer science may be
substituted for the required education and experience. A
Bachelor’s Degree in any field may be substituted for the
required education and one year of experience. A Bachelor’s
Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for the required
education and experience. IT ANALYST 2: Graduation from an
accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree. Two
years of professional experience in analyzing, designing,
programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems
and/or installing computer systems applications in a mainframe,
local area network, or personal computer environment; planning,
acquiring, installing and implementing telecommunications
facilities and services, wide area networks, or local area
networks; generating and maintaining system software; database
administration; or systems security. A Bachelor’s or
Master’s Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for the
required education and one year of experience. Three years of
post secondary education in Computer Science may be substituted
for the required education. An Associate’s Degree in Computer
Science and one year of additional experience may be substituted

ADMINISTRATIVE
SPECIALIST 2: Superior Court of New Jersey, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren
Counties. Summary: The
Municipal Courts and Information Technology Divisions are
seeking a customer service oriented and enthusiastic individual
who will be responsible for the professional administrative
functions for these two divisions. Duties:
Specific duties to include, but not limited to: composing
correspondence; compiling and maintaining reports and
statistical data; answering questions posed by the public,
clients, subordinates or supervisors; purchasing commodities;
arranging training for staff; arranging meetings, appointments,
interviews and other activities necessary for accomplishing job
assignments; recommending improvements in operating procedures,
work processes, or administrative practices; communicating human
resource policies, rules or regulations to staff; suggesting
improvements in work unit operation; answering and logging IT
help desk inquiries, and forwarding issues to appropriate
personnel for resolution; acting as a liaison with other
divisions; multi-tasking various functions; coordinating
program-related events; and performing other related duties as
assigned. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university
with a bachelor’s degree. One year of paraprofessional
experience in Program Evaluation: program development,
coordination, program analysis, program administration or

systems; assists in the design and implementation of computer
programs, databases or computer configurations and performs
related work as required. Qualifications:

analyzing, designating, programming, troubleshooting and
resolving technical problems associated with mainframe terminal,
PC, or LANs; setting up mainframe terminals or LANs and
configuring and networking devices for the end user; installing
software applications; and/or installing and implementing
telecommunications facilities and services. An Associate’s
Degree in Computer Science field may be substituted for the
required education and one year of experience. Three years of
post secondary education in Computer Science may be substituted
for the required education and experience/ A Bachelor’s Degree
in any field may be substituted for the required education and

INFORMATION
SYSTEMS ASSISTANT: Lansing, Michigan. Summary: The
individual in this position provides secretarial and
administrative support in the Information Systems Department of
the Michigan Court of Appeals. Duties: Provide first
level Help Desk support by monitoring incoming e-mails and phone
calls, routing requests for assistance to information systems
staff, or resolving basic application issues. Perform desktop
publishing and graphic design in order to publish the monthly
newsletter on the internal web browser. Create and maintain
Microsoft Word templates used throughout the Court. Obtain price
quotes and order computer hardware and software from vendors.
Schedule training classes for Court employees and maintain class
rosters. Provide clerical support in preparing materials for
training classes and assisting with training manual revisions.
Order and distribute printer supplies to Court offices. Maintain
inventory of Court-wide computer equipment and corresponding
maintenance agreements. Qualifications: Associate’s
degree in office administration, computer science or related
areas. Two to three years of Help Desk experience is required.
Advanced experience with the Windows operating system and the
Microsoft Office suite is required. Basic Novell Netware
administrative skills are preferred. Salary: $41,238.00 to
