SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST: Superior Court of California, County of Santa Cruz. Summary: Under direction of the Finance Manager, this position performs difficult, complex, and specialized professional financial analysis work and/or serves as a lead worker over technical and clerical staff as well as other Financial Analysts; performs fiscal and strategic analysis. Performs budget analysis and design; assisting in the implementation of financial procedures, processes and systems; and performs financial and accounting audits. Duties: Compiles and analyzes financial and budgetary data, statistics and other information to aid in program/department monitoring, evaluation planning and improvement. ENHANCED COLLECTIONS DIRECTOR: Superior Court of California, County of Riverside. Summary: Under general administrative direction, manages, plans, organizes, and directs collection activities countywide. Develops and implements goals, objectives, policies and standards applicable to the units area of responsibility; reviews work of subordinate supervisors to ensure compliance with established policy and procedures, applicable state and local rules and regulations. FINANCIAL SPECIALIST 1: Office of Attorney Ethics, Supreme Court of New Jersey, Administrative Office of the Courts. Ewing, NJ. Summary: The NJ Judiciary, Office of Attorney Ethics, Supreme Court of NJ is seeking an individual who will conduct audits of attorneys’ trust and business accounts throughout the state to determine consistency with the New Jersey Court Rule 1:21-6, Rule of Professional Conduct 1.15 and compliance with generally acceptable accounting practices and procedures under the Random Audit Compliance Program. Duties: The selected candidate will: examine attorneys’ financial records, bank documents, pertaining to estates, guardianships, trusteeships where the attorney is the fiduciary to determine if proper accounting procedures are being implemented; examine attorneys’ trust accounts to ensure that account checks are not being drafted to cover personal or business expenses of an attorney; administer and codify questionnaires to be completed by attorneys which determine the extent of attorney compliance; identify problems and report suggests of attorneys’ trust accounting deficiencies to the supervising auditor; instruct attorneys in proper practices and procedures of trust accounting; and maintain records and files as required. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: Colusa County Superior Court. Colusa, CA. Summary: Under executive direction, the incumbent will plan, organize and administer all financial activities related to the budgetary processes including accounting, fiscal reporting, revenue disbursement and grant administration. The incumbent will also analyze accounting methods and provide technical guidance in the development, implementation and improvement of the court’s automated (accounting) system, administrative and operational processes, to include compilation of court data for various statistical reporting purposes. FINANCIAL ASSISTANT: United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona. Phoenix, AZ. Summary: The incumbent’s primary duties are to provide general accounting support the budget and financial operations of the clerk’s office. BUNKRUPTCY GENERALIST: United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona. Tucson, AZ. Summary: The Bankruptcy Generalist performs various functions and is responsible for maintaining and processing case information and managing the progression of cases from opening to final disposition, in accordance with approved internal controls, procedures, and rules. The Bankruptcy Generalist also interacts with the public in person and on the telephone, judges and their staff, other clerk’s office staff and members of the bar. FINANCIAL SPECIALIST: The United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. Miami, FL. Summary: Perform work related to the financial, accounting, and budgetary activities of the court, ensuring compliance with appropriate Judiciary guidelines, policies, and internal controls. This is a generalist position and the incumbent may be assigned to projects, as needed, or transition between both the budget and financial accounting areas. related financial functions for the Mohave County Probation Department. Duties: Performs duties including but not limited to auditing daily
activities, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with statutes;
supervising assigned staff; overseeing daily deposits and balancing
monthly bank statements; preparing, reviewing and analyzing monthly
financial reports; developing and implementing internal accounting
systems, practices and procedures; maintaining inventory; preparing and
assisting in annual budget process and budget forecasting. Qualifications:
Requires Associate’s Degree in accounting, finance, business
administration or related field and 3 + years of relevant progressively
responsible general accounting, budget development and/or monitoring,
auditing or closely related work experience that includes at least one (1)
year of management or supervisory experience. Knowledge of audit
procedures and court processes is highly desirable. Experience above the
minimum stated may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the college
education. Salary: $1,677.60/bi-weekly. (2007)
