COURT INTERPRETER – PART TIME: Pima County, Consolidated Justice Court, Tucson, AZ. continuous basis. Duties:
Typical tasks for Court Interpreters include: Interprets
from and into English and the applicable non-English language

customer service representative to help staff a regional child
support call center under a pilot program that may be extended
and expanded. The center is to be administered cooperatively by
the AOC’s Probation Division and the executive branch
Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development.
Under the pilot, this call center will be the initial point of
contact for child support-related inquiries. Duties:
Specific duties of these positions will include:
establishing and maintaining cooperative and courteous
relationships with all callers; interviewing callers to assess
their needs; providing needed information or assistance;
utilizing child support (ACSES) systems to ascertain the current
status of a request; maintaining confidential protocols;
performing research and analysis to identify problem areas;
partnering with local Probation Division Child Support Units on
call referrals; providing quality customer service to clients;
and performing related duties as required. The above duties will
be performed utilizing both Spanish and English communication
skills. Qualifications: Graduation
from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s
degree. Two years of experience involving gathering and
analyzing client/customer information, which shall have included
the exercise of judgment and discretion, reviewing issues to
identify customer needs, coordinating with other stakeholders to
resolve issues and preparing reports of findings and
recommendations. Applicants who do not possess the required
education may substitute paraprofessional and professional
experience for education on a year-for-year basis. A master’s

student/volunteer will translate or review a translation of a
pro se law library into various languages used throughout New York City--the student/volunteer may translate as many booklets as he/she
wants. The pro se library addresses the limited availability of
representation for an increasing number of women who cannot
afford legal assistance. The Library consists of 11 booklets
that cover the following subject matters: Paternity Proceedings,
Adoption, Custody and Visitation, Guardianship, Divorce, Spousal
Support, Child Support, Orders of Protection, Domestic Violence
and Immigrant Women, Social Security Number and Name Changes,
and New York City Courts. It is our hope that the library will
be translated into numerous languages so that they can be used
