DEPUTY CLERK: District of Columbia, 500 Indiana Ave., NW. JUNIOR-LEVEL DEPUTY CLERK:  500 Indiana Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. Summary: Duties: The junior-level deputy clerk works in operational divisions of the District of Columbia Courts, providing confidential administrative and clerical support as assigned, and providing effective customer service to the public, attorneys, judicial officers or staff. Duties may include some of the following: Receives and files documents. Locates documents in files and dispatches them to the appropriate office. Maintains inventory control over documents and files. CHIEF DEPUTY CLERK: United States District Court, Southern District of Iowa, Clerk’s Office, Des Moines, IA. Summary: The United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa is accepting applications for the position of Chief Deputy Clerk. This position is located in Des Moines, Iowa and is responsible for administration and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the Clerk’s Office, managing special projects and assignments as needed, and helping to develop court-wide policies. Duties: The incumbent assists the Clerk in the supervision and management of the office, including areas such as intake, courtroom deputies, jury, the Case Management/Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) system, records management, statistical reporting, quality assurance, staffing, and procedural manuals. CLERK I/II/III: Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa. Summary: Clerks perform a wide variety of clerical functions in support of judicial officers in courts throughout the county, including Concord, Martinez, Pittsburg, Richmond and Walnut Creek. CHIEF DEPUTY CLERK: U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Florida, Office of the Clerk. Summary: The Chief Deputy Clerk reports directly to the Clerk of Court. This is a senior level management position responsible for assisting the clerk with the administration, supervision, planning and management of the operations of the Clerk’s Office. In the absence of the Clerk, the Chief Deputy assumes all of the functions and responsibilities of the Clerk. Duties: Among other duties, the Chief Deputy is responsible for the efficient delivery of the following  support services: case administration including electronic case filing and case management; case intake; records management; information technology; statistical reporting; quality control; financial and budget management; and personnel management. Qualifications: Required: Candidates must possess a minimum of six years of experience in a responsible administrative, managerial, or professional position in which they gained a thorough understanding of organizational management including administrative and human resource aspects. DEPUTY CLERK IN CHARGE: U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Summary: The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio has an immediate opening in the Youngstown Clerk’s Office. This is an exciting opportunity to join our court in a leadership capacity as Deputy Clerk in Charge, with managerial responsibility for all major functional components of the office. Summary: The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a detail-oriented individual with office skills to join the Probation Services Division, Intensive Supervision Program. Duties: The selected candidate will provide a variety of clerical support and administrative clerical functions, including but not limited to: screening and routing phone calls and visitors; document filing and copying; mail sorting ad distribution; and general administrative and clerical duties as assigned. PRETRIAL OFFICER: Anderson, Spencer and Shelby Counties, Kentucky. Duties: Responsible for conducting background interviews with defendants detained in local jails within twelve hours of arrest. The purpose of this interview is to provide verified information to the trial courts. This information assists in determining if the appropriate conditions exist to obtain pretrial release while ensuring both the return to court and maintaining public safety. Qualifications: Graduate of a college or university and/or equivalent experience preferred. Related training and experience will be considered as a substitute on a year for year basis. Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to cross-train and multi-task are a must. Salary: $10.54/hour. COURTROOM CLERK: Mohave County Superior Court, AZ. Duties: Under close to general supervision, undertakes and performs a variety of tasks associated with the handling of statutory and/or locally required Clerk of Court functions within the courtroom.  Provides the official record of court activities and assists in the clerk’s office performing a variety of pre-court preparation and post-courtroom activity follow-up. As experience is gained, incumbents work more independently on an expanded variety of assigned duties. COURTROOM CLERK I/II: Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa. COURTROOM CLERK I/II: Clark County District Court, Las Vega, Nevada. Duties: Prepares and distributes court calendars; ensures that all files, documents, evidence and other materials are available and organized prior to the beginning of court session. Ensures that court officials and all participants are made aware of the case under consideration. Summary: The Superior Court of California, County of Kings, is accepting applications for full-time Courtroom Clerk I/II position located at the Hanford site; however the assignment could be located at the Corcoran, Avenal or Lemoore Courts.
