CASE MANAGER – LEGAL BRANCH: District of Columbia Courts. Washington, DC. Summary: The Case Manager is responsible for the review and management of cases processed in the Legal Branch, addressing technical issues related to the use of software which, through guided interviews, automatically creates documents that are filed in Small Decedent’s Estates, and statistical report generation and review. Duties: Assigns pleadings and filings received by mail to Legal Branch staff, updates and reviews mail database to ensure compliance with Branch procedures. Performs quality review of docket entries made by Legal Branch clerks, returns work product for correction and monitors to ensure timely and accurate completion of same. Processes for submission to judge certain pleadings as assigned by supervisor. Provides back-up coverage to Small Decedent’s Estates’ staff, as needed and assists in the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures within the Legal Branch. Performs other duties as assigned. COURT SERVICES OFFICER 1: Civil Division, Monmouth Vicinage. Freehold, NJ. Duties: The selected candidate will assist in performing case management and intake functions including: monitoring and processing cases in accordance with court rules and established practices; working with the Judges and team leaders to set priorities; scheduling and maintaining trial calendars; organizing work to ensure efficiency. BANKRUPTCY GENERALIST: United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona. Summary: The Bankruptcy Generalist performs various functions and is responsible for maintaining and processing case information and managing the progression of cases from opening to final disposition, in accordance with approved internal controls, procedures, and rules. The Bankruptcy Generalist also interacts with the public in person and on the telephone, judges and their staff, other clerk’s office staff and members of the bar. The Bankruptcy Generalist is a member of a self-directed team, working under the direction of the Operations Supervisor. Duties: Receives and screens incoming documents to determine conformity with appropriate rules, practices and court requirements. PROGRAM COORDINATOR (CIVIL CASE MANAGER): Civil/Family Court Division, Administrative Office of the Courts, Twentieth Judicial Circuit. Fort Meyers, FL. Summary: This is a professional position assigned to case manage the circuit civil caseload. The Program Coordinator will perform a variety of case management duties to improve case processing standards and reduce the court's civil case backlog. Duties: The Program Coordinator is responsible for conducting case management conferences, classifying differentiated case management (DCM) tracks, reviewing complex cases and scheduling court events. The Program Coordinator is responsible for researching and writing legal memoranda and drafting court opinions and orders. DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR II: Ninth Judicial District, Colorado Judicial Branch. Glenwood Springs, CO. Summary: The District Administrator duties involve management of case flow management, development and implementation of new policies in conjunction with judges and court staff, and participation in the design, acquisition and implementation of automation for court processes and proceedings. CASE MANAGER – FAMILY SERVICES: Second Judicial District Court, Washoe County. Reno, NV. Summary: Under general supervision, performs complex and highly confidential case management work in the District Court Family Services Program (currently recognized as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Mediation and Peace Center) involving the assignment, supervision, and review of referred court cases, including the work related to volunteers of such programs; may facilitate the expansion of supervised visitation and exchange services of the Peace Center program. COURT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST: U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. The Theodore Levin United States Courthouse, Detroit, MI. Summary: The employee performs various functions and is responsible for maintaining and man-aging the progression of cases from opening to final disposition, in accordance with approved internal controls, procedures and rules. The employee maintains the official case record by docketing, noticing, and monitoring the completion of required procedural steps, reviewing filed documents to determine conformity and taking appropriate action, ensuring that all orders and automated entries are appropriately and accurately docketed, and making summary entries on the docket when appropriate. DUI COURT CASE MANAGER: Personnel Services Department, Forsyth County. Cumming, GA. Duties: Coordinates and organizes DUI court calendars; participates on the DUI court team which assesses and monitors participants; attends and participates at DUI court sessions; monitors defendants placed into DUI court; advises defendants of program requirements/conditions; conducts visual observations of defendants; confirms defendant’s residences, employment, or other situations; collects urine and saliva samples for drug and alcohol testing; administers drug and alcohol testing and interprets test results.
