Systems Analysts are members of the Technology Policy and

Summary: This committee has primary responsibility

SYSTEMS ANALYST
: Management Information Systems (MIS), Superior Court of Guam,
Agana, Guam. Summary: Under the general directions of the MIS
Administrator, the incumbent will perform complex professional
systems design, development, implementation and maintenance of
the Superior Court Management Information System.
Employee in this class performs the full range of duties
necessary for planning, managing and implementing modifications
and enhancements to applications, systems software and
information infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Associate's degree) from an accredited
college or university in computer science or closely related
field, plus four (six) years of relevant work experience
performing systems analysis and applications development, with
knowledge of government information systems; or an acceptable
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of three years of programming
background with the AS/400 using CL, RPG 400 and OS/400.
Must have designed and implemented on-line and batch
programs in an AS/400 environment.
Background in networking with the AS/400 and the

ANALYST: Seventh Judicial District Administration Office, Rochester,
NY. Summary: The incumbent will resolve software
problems and instruct end-users in the utilization of hardware
and software. The
incumbent will assess training needs, prepare course outlines
and schedule training sessions.
He or she will also participate in the installation of
hardware and software. Knowledge
of Novell Netware, Windows NT, and WordPerfect Office is
preferred. Qualifications:

implements the court information processing applications.
Implements and maintains automated information systems.
Provides ongoing training to court personnel in automated
court applications. Evaluates
manual systems for conversion to automated data processing

budget requirements for the maintenance and enhancements of
operating systems. Troubleshoots

Experience: Three
years of comprehensive systems analysis, programming, systems

Tempe, Tempe, Arizona. Qualifications: This position requires 3+ years of
responsible application system development experience, including
in-depth knowledge of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and
other current client/server technologies, plus the equivalent to
a bachelors degree with major course work in computer science
or a related field. Strong
project management skills with knowledge of criminal justice is

Duties: installs,
administers, maintains, and repairs PC hardware and related
peripherals; performs a variety of duties relating to the

court hardware and software; participates in analysis,

needs and objectives in data processing and communications;

communications from PC to IBM RISC 6000 server, ad hoc ORACLE
reports, the system's backup/recovery, and printer management;
maintains and enhances ORACLE-based case management system;
coordinates with the clerk's office on civil/criminal electronic
file transfers from CICS to DB2 (TSO); identifies requisite
hardware components to facilitate end user access to LAN;
maintains and enhances WP macros that generate daily civil and
criminal dockets. Qualifications:
include graduation from an accredited four-year college or
university with a degree in computer science or a related field
and four years of system analysis experience; or a degree in an
