HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS): Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa. Summary: The Superior Court of Contra Costa County is seeking a Human Resources (HR) professional with a strong background in employee and labor relations to fill a vacant HR Manager position. This is a terrific opportunity for an accomplished HR professional interested in assuming a high profile and active role in the administration of human resources within an organization. Duties: The HR Manager is responsible for supervising two HR Analysts and managing day-to-day employee and labor relations activities for the Court including, but not limited to: assisting managers with employee performance and counseling issues; conducting investigations and making recommendations regarding appropriate follow-up action plans; interpreting and applying personnel policies, rules, regulations and provisions of labor agreements; providing oversight with regard to the Court’s workers’ compensation and leaves of absence programs; conducting meet and confer sessions with employee and labor representatives; and, preparing labor contract proposals and participating in labor contract negotiations. JUDICIARY CLERK 3 (CONFIDENTIAL): Human Resources Division, AOC, Trenton, NJ. Summary: The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong customer service and organizational skills to work in the Payroll and Benefits Unit, under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor 2. Summary: As a member of the Administrative Services Department, the job incumbent provides a full range of human resources services to our judges, our management team, and our staff. Summary: Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the person selected for this position will be responsible for the development and presentation of a wide variety of educational and training programs for judicial officers, managers and court staff. Duties: Designs and develops education and training programs and projects. Designs and develops curricula, course materials and education/training methods for programs and projects. Utilizes a wide variety of methods to present educational and training programs, including: in-person presentations, audio/visual, print, computer and internet/intranet. Conducts education and training needs assessments; interacts with judicial officers, managers and staff to identify, develop and plan the content of education and training programs. Analyzes education and training goals and objectives; Prepares cost estimates for projects and programs, and prepares cost/benefit analyses.
