On November 16, ICM certified 45 court professionals from across the United States as graduates of the Court Management Program. These CMP participants join the ranks of nearly 500 other court personnel who have earned the distinction as a Certified Court Manager (CCM) since ICM started the program in 2000. Some of the participants will begin the second level of ICM certification in the Court Executive Development Program.
Throughout the weeklong course, participants were engaged in a multitude of activities and discussions designed to enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities as court leaders. Dale Kasparek, Institute for Court Management's National Programs Director, and Daniel Straub, Ph.D., President of Straub & Associates, served as primary faculty to educate on topics such as stimulating and managing change in the courts, teaming, situational leadership, employee enhancement and empowerment.
ICM congratulates these individuals and thanks them for the valuable contributions they make toward the improvement of court administration.
