Issues - Introduction

Making the justice system more accessible, understandable, and equitable for the public is at the heart of the NCSC’s work. Often our work is behind-the-scenes, improving the administration of justice, but ultimately it produces a more visible and direct effect on society. In 2006, the NCSC helped courts confront a wide variety of issues that affect public trust and confidence in the justice system.
