Records Management in the Courts

Records Management in the Courts

Court information almost always takes the physical form of magnetic media, microfilm, optical media, or paper records. Managing this critical resource efficiently and cost-effectively requires strategically-planned organizational structures, systems, technologies, work methods, and staff training. The CCS staff can assist with:

  • Information Resource Management (IRM) strategies

  • Records management, including records management for Total Quality and Process Improvement

  • Application of records management technologies

  • Record retention schedule development
