Families and the Courts

One of the most dynamic social issues today is the American "family." The traditional definition of what constitutes a family is, itself, under examination in an era of diverse family structures, biotechnological advances, and juvenile caseloads of growing complexity. Increasingly, family issues are being brought to court for resolution. The Court Consulting Services staff can provide:

  • Organizational reviews of court structure

  • Assessments of how services to children, youth, and families are currently provided

  • Improvement plans for service delivery
