What
We Do
The challenges facing
court systems are enormous. Caseloads are up. Technology is exploding.
Social issues are more complex. Communities are demanding greater accountability in the judiciary. Operating costs are under ever-closer
scrutiny by cash-strapped states and units of local government. Now,
more than ever, your court needs knowledgeable, cost-effective
assistance in meeting these challenges. There is no single more
qualified source of help than the National Center for State Courts
–
Court Consulting Services.
The Court Consulting Services
Division (CCS) maintains a cadre of experts skilled in a variety of
disciplines—court
administration, strategic planning, law, judicial facility planning,
adult education, information technology, and statistics. Each
member of our team possesses a practical understanding of how state
court systems and various levels and types of courts operate, from
general jurisdiction trial courts to state, county, and municipal
limited-jurisdiction trial courts to drug courts and other
problem-solving courts to intermediate appellate courts and courts
of last resort.
Our diversity allows CCS
to field the expertise and skills for each assignment—large,
small, or in between—that
best meet the needs and concerns of each client.
The following are a few of
the services available to your court through the Court Consulting Services.
