Bulgarian Judges
Benefit from U.S. Study Tour
Ten Bulgarian judges studied
the award-winning case management system of the Coconino County Superior Court
in Flagstaff, Ariz., as part of a study tour sponsored by the National Center
for State Courts (NCSC). The visiting judges also learned about the role
superior court judges can play in reducing delay in civil and criminal cases.
As part of their tour, which
took place in August, the Bulgarian judges also observed court operations in
Phoenix and Fort Collins, Colo. NCSC sponsors hundreds of judges from
other nations each year as part of its International Visitors Program.
