NCSC Research Consultant to Discuss Judicial SelectionWilliamsburg, VA (Nov. 19, 2007) – Dr. David B. Rottman, Principal Court Research Consultant for the National Center for State Courts, will participate in a panel discussion on judicial selection at a forum presented by the Mediation Center of Hampton Roads on behalf of the South Hampton Roads (Virginia) Chapter of the League of Women Voters. Judicial Selection: Do Citizens Have a Voice in the Matter? will be presented at Virginia Wesleyan College’s Boyd Dining Hall Nov. 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Joining Dr. Rottman on the panel will be Rep. Robert C. “Bobby” Scott of the Third Congressional District of Virginia and Mary Commander, attorney-at-law.
