Airlines Recognized
for 20 Years of Service to Improving Justice
Williamsburg,
Va. – Delta Airlines was recognized recently as a 20-year
contributor to The National Center for State Courts, which is dedicated
to improving the administration of justice through leadership to the
state courts. In 2001, Delta joined a group of more than 25 of
America’s leading companies that have achieved this special
distinction.

William Ide, senior vice president and general counsel of Monsanto
Company (now retired) presented a Resolution of Appreciation to John
Moloney, Delta’s director of Government Affairs, during a luncheon in
Washington, D.C., which was attended by U.S. Chief Justice William H.
Rehnquist. Mr. Ide is co-chair of The National Center’s General
Counsel Committee. Joining Delta in this year’s 20-year recognitions
were Deloitte & Touche, Household International, and J.C. Penney
& Company.
Founded
by U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren E. Burger and celebrating its
30th anniversary, The National Center for State Courts is a non-profit
organization headquartered in Williamsburg, Va. The National Center
carries out its mission of reforming the court system and improving the
administration of justice through its offices in Williamsburg,
Washington, D.C., and Denver, Colorado, which provide research,
education and hands-on consulting services to the nation’s state
courts.
