part of a certification track program
The
Court Executive Development Program (CEDP)
is a four-phase program preparing individuals for court leadership
positions. Graduates become ICM Fellows during ceremonies at the
U.S. Supreme Court. the Court Management Program (CMP)
is a two-phase program designed to build mid-level management skills.
Customized
programs (Partnerships)
are developed by ICM's specialists to suit the specific needs of state
administrative offices, trial courts, international groups, and other
court-related organizations.

learning courses are offered via the Internet, scheduled to help courts

Worldwide
Partnerships
NCSC's
International Program was formed in 1992 to provide technical assistance
(under contracts and cooperative agreements) to courts and justice
systems in developing countries worldwide—in
such areas as access to justice, enhancing performance and delay
reduction, transparency and accountability, development of strategic
plans and goal setting, reestablishing public confidence, education and
training programs, assessment and evaluation of operations and
management practices, development of case management systems, and use of

In-country
programs have been established in Croatia, Kosovo, Mexico, Mongolia,
Nigeria, and the Philippines. Through the International Visitors
Program, hundreds of visitors from around the globe have attended
judicial administration classes at NCSC's headquarters in Williamsburg,
Va., and state courts across the nation. international projects
are funded through grants and contracts with government agencies and
multilateral organizations.

or in print. The professional staff is available for
seminar/conference development and court collaborative projects.
Research findings become a part of NCSC's Web site database and support
the work of NCSC's information analysts, educators, and consultants.
NCSC's
Technology Staff provides staff support to the national
effort directed by the Conference of State Court Administrators,
Conference of Chief Justices, and the National Association for Court
Management to develop and implement national standards that will improve
the acquisition and use of case management systems and other technology

(CTB). The CTB, first published in 1978, has been a
leading source of information on application of technology to the court
community.
